Hannah is an award-winning leader, speaker and influencer, with a huge heart for young women and for every girl to know her true worth. She also currently sits on the Domestic Abuse Advisory Panel for Birmingham.

 

The original idea for a self-esteem course for girls was put on hold while Hannah studied for a degree in Youth, Children's and Community Work in Nottingham. However, within the first year, she had realised that something needed to be done now.

 

'I've always felt strongly about the need for girls to be understood and being a part of their journey to become strong, confident, young women.'

 

Hannah wrote the Cherished programme while she continued her degree and began delivering the course in secondary schools in 2011, to an overwhelmingly positive reception.

 

Cherished has flourished under Hannah's leadership and inspirational determination to bring out the true potential and value of girls. We have now worked in over 35 schools, have a team of nearly 70 volunteers and have big, BIG ambitions for the future!
